Finché Amina le fa una proposta: scambiarsi di ruolo per un giorno. Si somigliano talmente tanto che nessuno se ne accorgerà. Vivere la vita di un’altra persona per ventiquattr’ore. Farlo per davvero. Sonia legge negli occhi della ragazza una disperata voglia di libertà e accetta. Eppure, quando l’alba sta ormai per sorgere, Amina non fa ritorno. Sonia si sente ingannata da una persona che voleva soltanto aiutare. The elegant building stands out in front of her. Sonia looks up to follow its profile as far as she meets the sky. She doesn’t remember how she found herself working as a waitress in one of the most luxurious hotels in the city. After all, in her life, she has always felt like a figure rather than a protagonist. Sometimes, however, she dreams of being someone else. When she is asked, perhaps because of her extraordinary resemblance to the girl, to take care of the young Amina, who is visiting Marbella with her rich family, overnight Sonia is introduced into a world of pomp and wishes immediately fulfilled, a world of mysterious women who are very far from her. Until Amina makes her a proposal: swap roles for a day. They look so alike that no one will notice. Living another person’s life for twenty-four hours. Do it for real. Sonia sees a desperate desire for freedom in the girl’s eyes and she accepts. Yet, when the dawn is about to rise, Amina does not return. Sonia feels deceived by a person she just wanted to help. Now she must do everything to find her and take back her identity, because the golden world in which she has ended up is illuminated by the glitter of a thousand diamonds which are only the bottoms of a bottle. She must escape. But even out of there she can’t reveal her secret to anyone…
