Partire o restare? Restare o partire? Pio e Amedeo sono due amici inseparabili, o almeno lo sono stati fino al giorno della maturità. Pio, con l’ambizione della finanza, decide di lasciare il Sud per la Milano da bere, Amedeo, da sempre appassionato di medicina, sceglie invece di restare e lavora al fianco del Sindaco per bloccare l’inevitabile fuga dei giovani verso il Nord. Ma per rilanciare l’economia locale servirebbe un grande investimento: e sarà così che i due amici si ritroveranno anni dopo.

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION:
When they finish high school, Pio and Amedeo are faced with the fateful dilemma that grips all young people of the Italian south: give up everything to find work in the north or stay home and build a better tomorrow. The two make opposite choices: Pio sets out to become a financier in the Milanese metropolis, while Amedeo remains in the southern country to become a doctor, convinced that a bright future can also be achieved in the south. Years later, due to an unpredictable twist of fate, the two friends meet again…
